Membership Changes 2012

Monash Sport is implementing a number of policy changes regarding its support to its affiliated member clubs.  These changes are aimed at ensuring clubs focus on providing services to students (after all we are a university based club) and those members who are affiliated with the university in some way (such as staff or alumni) while still providing access to services for the broader community.

This year we are making a number of changes to the membership process.  We have introduced a new category of membership to cover Staff/Alumni.  We have also taken a decision to minimise any increase in membership fees, especially for students.

All members will now be required to renew their Club membership via the website http://www.monashsquash.org.au/join-now.  This is to ensure that we capture all of the information that is required by both Monash Sport and SquashVic.  This information is used for such things as insurance and player registration, and also assist Monash Sport with analysis for sport and recreation planning.  Our management of this information is covered by our Privacy Policy (which is available on the Club website).  If you have any queries please let us know.

Memberships are due by the end of February. Please do not disadvantage yourself or the Club by waiting – RENEW TODAY! Each person on a squash court during Club practice sessions must have an active membership.
